Hundreds rally at Boswell pharmacy to shed light on importance of pharmacy choice

Hundreds of people packed into a tent outside Martella’s Pharmacy in Boswell on Tuesday night to show support for the independent pharmacy as it continues a fight with national pharmacy benefit manager Express Scripts.

More than a year ago, Express Scripts terminated Martella’s Pharmacy from its network, putting customers at risk of losing access — or, for some, already costing them access — to the longtime local pharmacy.
